Fabric Globe

I meant to post this ages ago but thought it was such a great gift that it didn't want to ruin the surprise for any of my friends whose kids will be given these on their birthdays. An inflatable fabric globe to colour in. You can buy them here at Father Rabbit.

Gretel Home

I almost bought this beautiful silver ribbon wall lamp for our daughters room until I realized it is 20 inches wide! Far to overpowering for a small bedroom, I still would love it for the lounge one day.
Aside from this lamp, Gretel home is full of beautiful things, I really recommend having a good look around the site. Below are a few other things  wouldn't say no to.

Miffy Lamp

I just broke my shopping ban to buy this. I tried to find something else I really did, but I'm pretty sure this is the best lamp ever made! Miffy lamp available in 80cm tall or 50cm tall from Maiden.

At the moment I am putting all the finishing touches on our baby's bedroom, it's been a long time coming! So I thought I would share with you some of our inspiration, collected over a long time. This is a seriously photo heavy post! I hope you enjoy it.

Blank

I love gift wrapping and packaging and this store is way to tempting for me. Blank Supplies from Australia sell a whole range of things that you can customize. There are loads of great ideas there for kids parties and gifts.

An Awesome Book

A friend recently introduced me to these books by Dallas Clayton. An Awesome Book and An Awesome Book of Thanks, are full of kooky text and great illustration. They are really long so not so great for little babies. You can buy them on The Book Depository.

Baby Girl Swimwear

Here's a little round up of swimwear for baby girls. Most of these brands do great boys swimsuits too.

1-4. Mini Rodini
5. Peppin Boutique
6. Old Navy
7-8. Pop Up Shop
9-10. Munster

Locally you can find some cute things at Country Road, Cotton On and Zodee. And for sun safe swimwear you can't go past Little Red Fish. If you want to spend big bucks (Baby Dior, Burberry etc. Not a great selection this season), then go here.

Back Pack or Ruck Sack

By request I bring you a selection of out of the ordinary back packs, not really for kids but why not?

1. The Peter Jensen Rucksack - I've had my eye on this for a long time. They seem to re issue it in different colours all the time, the best one was pink and red. Buy them here.
2. Baggu do some really sweet basic bags, there are loads of colour options and some cute stripes. Locally you can sometimes find them on Once'it (let me know if you need an invite) or from Australia on The Iconic.
3. Petite by Sophie Schnoor does some cute back packs, I love this one on the right and it is on sale here.

4. Who knew The North Face did pretty back packs? Buy them here.
5. And lastly there is a really great selection of backpacks on the Urban Outfitters site.
Aside from backpacks there is always the Cambridge Satchel.

Kutie Jeans

Sorry for the major lack of posts! I have been driving all of NZ for the past few weeks, so I have loads of catch up to do!
Today I found out about an Australian jeans brand called Kutie Protocol, they make super cool jeans that are right on trend. Unfortunately they are super over priced too at $80 AUD! Love them but so not buying them.
